President Ronald Reagan also showed his pro-life stand when upon being asked by a reporter about abortion during a 1984 press conference he replied,
"I notice that all those people who favor abortion have already been born."
In his book, there are a lot more of important statements which we can use to support our pro-life stand.
"I have also said that anyone who doesn't feel sure whether we are talking about a second life should clearly give life the benefit of the doubt. If you don't know whether a body is alive or dead, you would never bury it. I think this consideration itself should be enough for all of us to insist in protecting the unborn."

The many medical and scientific witnesses who testified disagree on many things, but not on the scientific evidence that the unborn child is alive, is a distinctive individual, or is a member of the human species ..."

And he goes on to quote the beginning statement of the Declaration of Independence, described as "the nation's most cherished symbol of liberty",
